How to switch to different food, percentage to old & new?

This varies depending on the individual dog. It could take 5-7 days. For example: Day 1-2: 25% New / 75% old Day 3-4: 50% New / 50% old Day 5-6: 75% New / 25% old Day 7: 100% If your dog is experiencing upset through the transition, then you can lessen the ratio as you see fit.
Does science diet puppy contain chicken by products?

The Hill's Science Diet Puppy Healthy Development Small Bites Dry Dog Food does not contain chicken-by-products.
We have a puppy who is about 5 pounds and close to 4 months old. We have her now on Small paws, but since she is bigger now want to go with the next bigger size kibble. Are the ingredients the same?

At this time, Hill's Science Diet offers (3) three puppy formulas that would be suitable for a small breed puppy. Each of the formulas has chicken as it's main protein, however the rest of the ingredients may differ between them. The Puppy Health Development Small Bites has a kibble size of 7.3 x 4.5 millimeters (mm), the Puppy Small Paws is 7.5 x 4.5 mm, and the regular Puppy recipe is 10 x 4 mm.

Awesome product
I started feeding the Hill's Science puppy food on the advice of my veterinarian. My Gabby loved the food and within one week her coat became shiny and she exhibited boundless energy. I plan to stick with Hill's Science products for the life of my dog. P.S. I have a hard time keeping my two cats out of the puppy food- they prefer it to their own food!

New Boxer Puppy
We picked up Winston July 9th. The breeder was feeding them some kind of kibble with cute little designs in the food, like the puppy is going to relate to that. Anyway, ALL my dogs were raised on Science Diet Dog Food. The breeder gave me a zip-lock bag of food to mix in with mine so Winston could transition to Science Diet. I didn't do that. I placed a bowl of Science Diet puppy food on the floor and no transition needed. He GOBBLED it up. Loves it. Always recommend Science Diet to all my friends with dogs.
use for mini dachshund
The breeder used this food for her pups so I decided to keep mine in it plus working in the vet field has made me trust hills. My miniature dachshund loves it and she always gets compliments on how shiny and beautiful her coat is.
Will always feed Science Diet
Louie, my Shih Tzu, started out on S.D puppy small bites and he loves it! I've noticed I don't have to feed nearly as much as other brands since it doesn't use fillers. Another thing I have observed is that his stools are of smaller size because his body is absorbing the nutrients needed. The cost up front may be more, but in the long haul you're feeding smaller amounts since it doesn't have fillers. Highly recommend Science Diet
TO Tiny Bites
Puppies seem to love this diet, but pieces are to small causing my girl to lick and swallow, not chew, but great in rolling ball treat dispenser. Good for young pups or smaller breeds. Considering changing to Hills large breed puppy food as pieces are bigger.

He likez it he likez it
I was so suprised when the bag arrived as the pictured pup model looks' just like our new bundle of joy.. He likes it - we are also using the HSD adult bites for training tips and he is very motivated.
Excellent food
Hill's is one of the best brand for dogs. My dog loves it, the size of the pebbles is small perfect for small breeds and the nutritional components are very good. The only con, the price.

The order arrived on time, it is much easier for my puppy to digest and he seems to love it. It was not difficult for him to change with the previous one that we gave him. We feel safe with the food we are giving our puppy since it is recommended by his veterinarian.
Open when received
Upon receipt this bag of food has a slit in it to where the food is coming out of bag. It appears a box cutter slipped when opening the master case?!
Puppy Loves!
My puppy had gotten very picky about her food. My vet gave me a sample of this kibble and she absolutely devours it! Thanks Chewy; this is now on auto delivery!
